What woule be the ideal/suitable show rate of an Interstitial Ad?

I need to know what would be a suitable show rate for an Interstitial ad because in my app it is usually less than 20%, which seems very low to me. I would like to compare this number with other developers to know if I did something wrong in my implementation.

I request LoadAd in the beginning on the splash screen and onClose callback of interstitial ad callback. Is that OK?
