Hello,
we implemented ADMOB latest sdk with Facebook Audience mediation from the instruction here:
into a native iOS app, as an interstitial.

Several problems we noticed:

- For 50K / day global admob requests for that app, there are only 600 requests on FAN. Very low. Is this normal ?

- I need to submit the facebook app for review for audience network, and need to send a real ad request as admin or tester logged into fb app. I can't seem to trigger any FAN ad request as admin. I trigger the ad, but it is always an admob ad, so I can't send "the first ad request" they need. Since I can't specify the priority of ad networks, how can I force a real ad from FAN instead of admob ?

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us.This looks like a serving issue. You can increase the chance of a specific mediation network from the stack of your Ad Unit ID by changing the eCPM values .Once you have updated, give it a few hours and check again and you will served ads based on this setting.

Thank you for your answer.
Indeed, I increased eCPM to $5, which is well above the admob average, got an ad, and was able to send app for review.

With 5 ecpm, for FAN ads, does it mean all ads served will be at this rate?
The FAN still shows "pending optimization", should I leave ecpm that high ?

Hi Benj,

Glad that you were able to submit your app for review. For mediation priority, what I would recommend is that you try to play around with the eCPM values of the Ad Networks in the Mediation stack and increase the values for the Ad Networks you wish to display ads from. You can also refer to this Help Center Article for more information on mediation Priority work flow.

Hi Benjamin,

You can take a look at the AdMob Help Center to learn more about Ad Network Optimization. Having said that, you will have to contact the AdMob Product Support Team as they are better equipped to address the Ad Network Optimization queries in much more detail. You can reach out to them via the Contact Us button on the upper right hand corner of this page. Make sure to login with your Gmail/AdMob account to contact the support team.
