Testing with Live AdMob Ads

Hello All,

I have tested my app with sample ads and they all work as they should. Now I have created and integrated my real ad codes into my app to get ready for launch. Can I run my app on my phone with the live ads if I do not click on any of them or will the ads (banner and interstitial) just showing up on my device put me in violation of AdMob policy? I appreciate any information.

Hello, 

Thank you for contacting us. You could enable your device as a test device to load ads using your Ad Unit ID. These ads with the Test Ad label are safe to click. Requests, impressions, and clicks on test ads will not show up in your account's reports. Please refer to this guide on how to enable a test device.
