gma_mediation_inmobi uses ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

Hello,

I am flutter coder and want to use gma_mediation_inmobi package for the ad.

When I uploaded the app to the Google Play Store, it says 

"You must either declare the 'Precise Location' data type or remove the feature from all published releases." (Translated)

I searched this and found that this package uses ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION in AndroidManifest.xml

is this needed for this package ?

No, the gma_mediation_inmobi package does not require the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission. The ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission in the AndroidManifest.xml is used by InMobi for location-based ads. If you're not using location targeting, you can remove this permission from your AndroidManifest.xml and rebuild the app. Further guidance is available in our Optional steps documentation. For optimal performance, InMobi recommends adding the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission in the app's AndroidManifest.xml file.

Hi, 

Thank you for your response.

From your reply, I want to remove this permission from the project.

However the permission is written directly in package [gma_mediation_inmobi]'s AndroidManifest.xml file. not one of mine.

Is this the correct way to remove this permisison from the project?

 - fork or download the package folder, 

 - comment out permissions.

Thank you for getting back to us.

It is always recommended to use the latest versions of the SDK. As of today, the latest version of the Google Mobile Ads Flutter is 6.0.0. 

We have checked the latest version and did not find any ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission in the manifest file. Could you please confirm which version of Flutter SDK you are using, and also share the screenshot of the issue via reply to author option? for further investigation.
