Hey,

we have a native ad format. For that we are putting information like title, subtitle, picture, link, etc. in our creative. When the creative is served to the app it sends the information over the admob interface to the app. The app renders the informations (including click url).

The adslot isn't added to the layout - now we saw that we aren't counting impressions for this ad. Our idea is that we transfer the VIEW_URL_UNESC by admob too and let the url call by the app.

Is that possible or doesn't count admanger 360 this impressions too?

Bests

Hi Micha,

Ad Manager counts an impression each time a creative is downloaded in the user's device and has begun to load. Note that the impression is counted before the creative is fully downloaded and viewed by the end user. However, this is different to mobile app impressions. Google Ad Manager counts mobile app impressions in alignment with industry standards and is counted as when one or more pixels of the ad creative is visible on a device's screen. This is the working-as-intended behavior of the Ad-server. As per your use case, if the addslot is not added to the layout and it is not visible, then this is not counted as app impressions.
