How do you fire third-party impression tracking URLs in a custom native ad format?

Will .recordImpression(); do it?

My custom native format has three fields/vars - image, impression tracker 1, impression tracker 2

I have the method implemented in my project (file download link) and while I see https://securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/pcs/view?xai= firing in my Charles proxy logs (download link) indicating an impression has been recorded, I do not see any of the third-party impression URLs I have in GAM firing.
