Extra notification channel AdMob Offline Notifications on Android 11

Hello,

when I run my app on Pixel 4 with Android 11, an extra notification channel appeared. It is called AdMob Offline Notifications. I have no idea how it when from the ads lib into my app and I don't want it there. It doesn't show itself on Android 10, nor in the emulator with Android 10.0+. How to remove it? Or is it just a bug of the ad lib?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. As I have not been previously awware of such a message and this is the first time I have heard of this. I am also observing that this channel has appeared in my app, on a Samsung device running Android 10, NOT Android 11. I also don't want it there and would like it removed.

This is not specific to Android 11 only,

this is observed on Android 9 too.

There is probably something in the Ads SDK only, afaik.

I've Android 8.1.0 and also have that channel (AdMob Offline Notifications)

Google Mobile Ads SDK version 20.0.0 has a fix for the offline notification channel issue.
