Hello Farooq,

Can you please share your Ad unit Id and complete device logs for us to take a look? Are you able to load ads with your Ad unit Ids using our sample code ? You can use "Reply Privately to Author" option to share the details privately.

Hi Farooq,

Thank you for providing your sample code in private.

That said, we will be able to troubleshoot this way more efficiently if we can check on your project directly. With this in mind, could you then kindly provide the additional details below (via Reply privately to author) in order for us to continue with our investigation?

  • Unity SDK version
  • Copy of your project folder (replicating the issue)
  • Steps to replicate the issue

You may zip the entire Unity project (excluding the Library and Temp folders) in order to reduce its size, then send it to me via a shareable link from your Google Drive (or on any other file-sharing site that you prefer). Don't forget to send the shareable link via Reply privately to author.

As an aside: I have deleted your first post in this thread since it contained sensitive data (such as your ad unit ID). Below is a copy of your post with the sensitive data masked.

Regards,

Ziv Yves Sanchez

Hello,

I have started implementing Adaptive Banner in my game.
The adaptive banner failed to load with no fill on test ID ("ca-app-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx").

I can send you the code i am using to call the adaptive banner privately.

I am using Google Mobile Ads SDK specified for Native Advanced and Firebase SDK simultaneously.

Rest of the ad types are working correctly.. Interstitial, other banner types, as well as rewarded video and native advanced.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I work along with Ziv. Let me do the best I can to assist you in this.

This is to confirm that we received your information requested privately. However, it would much be appreciated if you could provide your project (as requested previously) so we could have a view ability of your implementation as well. Rest assured that the shared project file will be used internally and for investigative purposes only. Kindly use the Reply privately to author option to share the details privately.

Hello Developers,

I have resolved the issue. The reason was the package name. On that specific package name test ad with test ad unit also return with no fill. If i change package name it works perfectly.

But now i have a question. after that you may close this thread and mark it as completed..

Adaptive banner does adapt to width of the available screen resolution, and its height is also chosen by SDK or Algorithm, But it is an AdMob recommendation to have fixed space allocated for banner which must be separate from other interactive elements through border.

In that case if adaptive banner change its height than what should I do? is there any maximum limit for the height so that I can manage it in that way?

Hi there,

I'm glad that the issue has been resolved on your end.

With regard to your adaptive banner inquiry, you may utilize the getAdSize(), and use its returned value as a reference to your banner size. You may want to check our sample implementation for your reference.
