ad_impression auto logging issue

Hi.

  we are currently looking into ad_impression logging and we've noticed that our projects with applovinv/ironSource mediation also have ad_impression events logged. Since we don't log them this is AdMob who sends them automatically even when AdMob mediation is not active. As the result when we ad logging from Applovin/IronSource mediators ad_impression events for AdMob will be logged twice. I've looked through documetnation and didn't manage to find a way to diable AdMob auto logging.

  Is there a way to somehow solve this? Don't want to implement a workaround with a different event name -- it might interfere with other firebase systems such as A/B testing.

I have the same problem. I have a guess that I need to unlink admob from firebase and then admob will stop automatically sending ad_impression events, but I have not yet verified this.

If someone has already solved this problem - please share the solution

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK support team.

If you don’t want to log the impression data from AdMob, you can remove the below event method:
        // Called when an impression occurs on the ad. 
               onAdImpression: (Ad ad) {},

Turn off the Impression-level ad revenue toggle under Account controls in the AdMob setting. AdMob sends impression-level ad revenue through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to your app, for each impression delivered.  Learn more about impression-level ad revenue
