Hello all, I am new to Admobs and just installed via cocoa pods the other day, been testing okay Ads are showing in simulator and on my device, however i tested today outside away from Wifi and the ads did not show. I tested this in multiple places and as soon as i enter a Wifi area and my phone is connected to that network the Ads show. Any thoughts of why and or how to fix this issue ?

Regards

Hi JZ,

The Mobile Ads SDK should still request for ads in mobile networks the same way it requests for ads when connected via WiFi. Seeing as you were able to display ads on both the Simulator and your actual iOS device, then we can assume that there is nothing wrong on an SDK perspective. It is possible that the mobile network you are using have some sort of issue such as internal filters/ad blockers or latency that may have affected Ad Serving.

Hi JZ,

Although there may also be issues with the device, the issue you described may be more on the network the device is connected to since it may contain some filters/configurations that may have affected Ad Serving. I would suggest that you try to connect to a more stable connection (e.g. WiFi), preferably without any specific configurations (e.g. Ad Blockers) to enable ads to be requested and loaded properly. This should not affect all your users since it would be entirely dependent on what network your users are connected to.
