CMPs for iOS apps?

I have just applied the AppTrackingTransparency framework to my iOS app as per the request from Apple. Will I need to use another certified CMP to adhere to Google’s new rules?

That route directs me to another community with no way of speaking to a Google employee. There is no way for me to speak to an actual Google employee about this issue which -quite frankly - given the behemoth that Google is - is absurd.

Hi Pete,

Apple's ATT framework is to manage user authorization to access app-related data for tracking the user or the device. It's not tied to any regional policies.

Whereas CMPs are designed to help manage consents required by regional laws, so you would need both. However, you can use any CMP from the List of Google-certified CMPs to collect consent.
