So as mentioned, I think Le Central would be an excellent choice for
our first dinner session. Opened in 1974, it was the first French
bistro in San Francisco, and former mayor Willie Brown is known to be
a big fan, among others. When I send guests there from my hotel
(WorldMark, on the corner of Bush and Stockton), they usually enjoy it
greatly.

Now, to get the ball rolling: below are the days and times I'm
available in the coming week to dine. Let's try to find one that works
for everyone!

Mon 11/23: any time before 11pm
Tue 11/24: any time before 11pm
Wed 11/25: ALL DAY

I should correct myself: I am completely open to a LUNCH date as well
as dinner, if that works better with peoples' schedules. In fact, I
really love breakfast and especially BRUNCH dates as well, I used to
have a little group I'd brunch with weekly when I lived in Portland
and I kind of miss that.

Sounds like a great place!
I am available weekdays after 6pm and weekends at pretty much anytime. The only days that might be issues for me are Mondays and Thursdays. I too love a good weekend brunch :)
I want to let you all know I recruited a friend from work to join the group as well. Her schedule is very similar to mine, we both get off work at 6pm.

Well I'm unsure if you guys received my response, so here it is again.
I could work with any of the times you proposed starting on Tuesday. I will be just getting back to SF tomorrow and will have a house guest until Monday and so much to do around the house getting re-settled. Anyway, hopefully you all can wait for me, lunch or dinner is fine although I kinda prefer dinner but will defer to whatever works for the majority.

So it looks like Monday might work for everyone except Jennifer. Any
chance you could do a Monday night dinner, maybe around 8pm or so,
Jennifer? I have to be at work just up the street at 11pm (graveyard
shift), so the later the better, for me.
Once we establish a time I can make us a reservation!

I'm in the same predicament as Leslie - unless we meet Monday, I'll
have to wait and meet up after Thanksgiving. No worries, however,

I'd love to get one session in before the holidays sweep us all away!
(And don't get me wrong...I love the holidays and am a Christmas nut.)
So, do we have a fairly general consensus that 8pm Monday at Le
Central would work? I'd love it! Even just three or four people is
fine for a first dinner, we just started after all. But I may have
another person or two who will come as well.

Thank you everyone for a fun first meet-up last night! I had a bit too
much beaujolais I'm afraid. If anyone wants to post a review of Le
Central feel free! I liked my fettucine, but was so swept up in being
social I didn't even pay as much attention to the food and ambiance as
I meant to. Next time...
