Hi guys- thank you again for all your hard work today! We hope to have all the remaining props and things tomorrow for you. I organized a little more backstage and was able to create separate stations for all 10 women on the women's side. On the men's side, I do have separate spaces at the tables for each guy, but I can't fit 8 chairs back in that little space.
For makeup, everyone will have to use the mirrors on the women's side, so one idea for sharing that space is that each guy picks a lady friend and shares the space when putting on make-up. Maybe people who are wearing the same colors can share? There is also still that large, heavy upright mirror that a few people can stand in front of if they want.
There will be some additional black masking around the women's make-up/changing area.
Shoes. Christie and I would love to reduce the impact of street shoes on the stage and backstage area. One idea we had is that folks can store their shoes along the wall in front of where the current black masking is. We'll show you where tomorrow. You can swap out your real shoes for your stage shoes and keep the stage shoes along that wall between shows.
Christie just sent out the schedule idea for the next two days, so I won't repeat that, but please everyone continue to do your best in getting to rehearsal on time and starting in on hair and makeup.
Thanks everyone!! You're wonderful and lovely!
Amanda
