Hi there: My two granddaughters (ages 4 yrs and 9 months) cannot take
sugar in their diets. They regularly see a Homeopath who guides their
Mum in the right direction. Somehow sugar causes their immune systems
to overwork.

Please can anyone suggest any recipes, sugar-free (no substitutes
either) to help them on their way. They take goats' milk but milk-
shakes (made with real fruits) at the moment are not to their liking.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi Juana,

It depends on what you mean by no sugar substitutes? Can they take
fructose which is the sugar found in fruit? Your comment about the
real fruit milk shakes suggest that they could...

If that is the case then your daughter could use Sweet Freedom which
is a syrup made entirely from apples, grapes and carob. And is
versatile enough to be used in cooking. See their website
http://www.sweetfreedom.co.uk/. Sweet Freedom can be bought in Tescos
or ordered from GoodnessDirect: http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset/detail/730914.html

If this works there are some recipes I could post...
