• Good Food Industry trends

• Education and information on food safety 

• Transitioning to organic farming

• Good Food business and marketing strategies

• Impact of Good Food on human health

• Increasing access to Good Food

Areas of policy interest include:

• All new and upcoming food policy changes and programs at the federal and state level

• Discussions on preparing and organizing for the next Farm Bill in 2018/19

• Upcoming topics affecting the regional Chicago food system and its communities

• Policies and projects affecting the cross-section of Good Food, economic development and workforce development

• Policies and projects affecting land access for food production

• Issues around social justice, fair wages and Good Food 

• Environmental issues such as food waste, water use, soil quality, and seeds

• Consumer protection, awareness, education and public health
