2-year journey of Pakistan Times Online to become world's # 1

Let me briefly share with you the 2-year journey of our news blog Pakistan Times Online launched in June 2013.

We started with 195 viewers in June 2013 to reach 137,923 as of this date and time. Today, the top 10 countries from where we get our viewers include the US, Pakistan, France, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, UK, Turkey, Ireland, China in the same order of the quantum of visitors. 

Pakistan Times Online has become the world's # 1 news blog of a think tank by way of its viewership, diversity of contents and the geographical coverage.

The advertisers on our news blog include Facebook, Faysal Bank, Nokia, Samsung, Roosevelt Hotel, Payoneer Master Card, Lamudi, etc. Due to the space and format limitations, we publish ads by rotation: only 3 ads at one time.

Today, there are over 3.2 billion Internet users i.e. 40% of the world's population of 7.2 billion. Pakistan has 30 million users and growing at a fast rate as a percentage of the population. Half of them browse the web using their mobile phone.

Good Governance Forum is the first and only interactive think tank on governance in Pakistan, founded by the public citizen Mumtaz A. Piracha in 2007. Its 11,000 network members include academia, advocates, businessmen and industrialists, civil servants, diplomats, journalists and anchors, military officials, parliamentarians, professionals. It has a network of 600 NGOs, 400 journalists and 100 newspapers. It is member of 26 media groups with overall membership of over 200,000. It has over 100 news and thematic blogs.
