Ladies,

My name is Bertrand Brown and I am an aspiring writer. I have just completed
my first novel entitled; The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, a rather compelling
story of a single Black female who has endured many of the societal ills
that plague black women in America.

It is also the story of a man, her husband who also is lost in a sea of
desperation as he tries to climb the corporate ladder and in the process
loses his identity. At first together, and then apart they attempt to put
their lives in order despite the twist and turns that fate bestows on them.

Sometimes compelling and sad, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter is the tale of
two African-American professionals seeking to find some rhyme and reason in
their lives in the midst of societies many ills including racism in the
board room, date rape and the difficulty of finding a good man. It is, if
nothing else a fast paced jaunt into the lives of two people trying there
best to find their niche in a troubling world in spite of life’s trials and
tribulations.

I am only hoping that you can find a few minutes here and there to take a
gander and perhaps consider making it a member your book club. And with
