Happy Birthday Cake Kits

The United Women in Faith are collecting cake mixes and frostings for another round of Soda Cake Kits to be donated to the Open Hand Food Pantry. This time it’s to create Happy Birthday cakes for recipients who have young children. We will be working in partnership with our church Girl Scout troop, who will be donating candles, decorations and napkins. 

We are asking our congregation to donate chocolate or yellow cake mixes and/or chocolate or vanilla frostings. Please bring your donations to church this Sunday!  Our goal is 30 cake kits, so your donation will be greatly appreciated! The 2 groups will be gathering together next Thursday to assemble the kits.
