Hi folks,
You will notice that there's a bright yellow bicycle on the church lawn. See attached photo.
Yesterday morning, I saw a Facebook post asking for Haverhill people who would be willing to have a bicycle on their front lawn to advertise Rocky Morison's "Donate Your Bike" campaign. If you aren't familiar with Rocky's life work, he cleans up the Merrimac River with the help of community donations. He also cleans up and repairs bikes and donates them.
I immediately thought that this is something that Good Shepherd could help with so I texted the members of the GSUMC board of trustees and asked if they'd be to vote to do it. I immediately received all "yes" votes! ! I contacted Rocky, and he was so grateful for our help. This was an easy thing to say yes to and yet the community benefits are immeasurable.
 Blessings,
Judy
