GOOOD STUFF!

I know many of you are in Africa so you'll probably be reading this a
month after. Anyways, PLEASE READ THE QUIET TIME!!! This is one of my
favorite passages. When you read it you will notice that theme
easily. John Chrysostom uses this psalm (particularly vs 4) to show
what great love God has for the human... he goes on to say that He
loves us so much that He glorified our status in being incarnate as a
human... What greater honor is there than for the king to be among His
people?.. A very poor analogy but gets the point is like if we were to
go to the bball court in Savage and have with us Michael Jordan...
Everyone watching regardless of how bad we are would think 'oh these
guys must be really good and important if MJ wants to run with them!'
Christ did the same (much more so!) with us when he did not consider
robbery to become incarnate!
I guess what I'm saying is lift your head up and realize that you are
truly truly valuable not only in your friends eyes but in the King of
Kings eyes!!! Never forget it and thus should act and love as He did
for we are His team!
Quiet Time

PS: Possibly on Sunday I want everyone over for pool party and to
watch Egypt show USA whats up in futbol!!! Pray that Mena and Steve
get well very soon (our apartment is like a clinic I tell you...haha)
