New England Sweet Potato Casserole
Sweet potatoes
brown sugar
butter
1 cup boiling water
Boil the sweet potatoes.
Pare, and slice them.
Cover the bottom of a greased baking dish with a layer of sweet potatoes.
Sprinkle liberally with brown sugar and dot with butter.
Continue adding layers in the same way until the dish is full.
Pour the boiling water over the potatoes.
Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes.
