Broiled Tomatoes
Serves 6. (1/2 tomato each)
150 Calories, 13 grams net carbs, 12 grams fat per serving.
3 large tomatoes
1 1/2 Tbsp bottled herb garlic dressing
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
1 small clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper.
Cut out stem ends of the tomatoes.
Slice the tomatoes in half crosswise.
Brush dressing over cut side.
Place the tomato halves in a broiler pan.
Combine the rest of the ingredients and toss until well blended.
Spoon the mixture evenly over tomato halves.
Broil 5 inches from heat until lightly browned, about 2 - 3 minutes.
