No, gobook is not quite dead.

The plan is to get out a python3 version of goobook first and then look over the reported issues/requests.

The python3 version has existed for a while but needs testing before release, if you are so inclined and know how to install Python programs from source you are very welcome to help with the testing!

I'm working on convincing a friend to start helping with goobook so with some luck it may help.
If any more of you are interested in joining temporarily or in a more permanent form, let me hear about it!

Timeplan: none, but i hope that we at least can get a python3 version released before summer is over.

The new version will not support python 2.7, i hope the long wait has removed the need for supporting both versions.
