If you are a new user of GooBook or for some reason need to reauthenticate, new requirements from Google adds some extra hoops to jump though.
Note, if you have a working installation you don't need to do anything.
Do this to get it to get authentication to work: Follow Googles instructions for setting up OAuth 2.0 here: https://support.google.com/cloud/answer/6158849?hl=en&ref_topic=3473162 While doing that: On the consent screen add the scope "../auth/contacts"
when you have created a "OAuth 2.0 client ID" click on the download icon (on the right) and save the JSON file you get as ~/.goobook_client_secret.json then you should be able to authenticate with goobook as usual.
