Final Match of the Season is Saturday - DC Championships

The last local match of the season is on Saturday.  Winners from this weekend will go on to National Preps at Lehigh.  Go Eagles!!

 

This weekend we will have practice on Friday (date and time TBD) - stay tuned.    

On Saturday - The boys need to be at Model Secondary School which is located on the campus of Gallaudette University located at 800 Florida Ave Ne Washington, DC 20002−3660. Here is a map of the campus: http://admissions.gallaudet.edu/pdf/campus_map.pdf. The tournament will be held at the MSSD Gym located in the lower right hand corner of the map.  

 

 

TIMING: 

Arrive at Model by 6:45 am on Saturday. 

7 a.m. weigh in begins

9 am wrestling begins

 

NEED: 4 parents to volunteer to work the admissions table - two shifts 6:45-10 and 10-close.  Admission will be $5 per person (excluding wrestlers and coaches).  Gonzaga typically gets a cut of the door money.  PLEASE EMAIL avon...@comcast.net if you can donate your time for a few hours on Saturday. 

 

There will be concessions or send your son with snacks and food.

10-1           Mary

 

Can one of the morning moms move to the afternoon shift?  of course we will make sure you have coverage when your son is wrestling during any shift.  Can one of the morning moms bring a bank to start the day - $100-$150 in $5 bills to make change?  Then you can collect it back at the end of your shift.

Sorry to be so late in chiming in, but I can help out in AM – though have a 10:30 commitment in Bethesda so may need to leave a tad before 10, though I can go to the bank and bring cash. I take it the entry fee is $5 so there is no need for anything other than 5s?

 

Also, I have Gatorade and water that I am signed up to bring, so will have that as well.
