Riverfolk will be hosting a Cajun Music Workshop by <b>Joel Savoy &
David Greely </b> in Manchester on JUNE 16 at 3pm.
Joel and David will also be performing a "Dinner Concert" at The Black
Sheep Restaurant that evening for only $20 per seating.

Workshop on ensemble musicianship with David Greely and Joel Savoy:
When you hear a great band live on stage, it sounds solid and smooth,
as if it would hold water. What are the secrets that eliminate the
holes, the jerks and jumps, and the obstinate annoyances that plague
lesser bands. How can accordion, fiddle, guitar, and bass work
together more efficiently? There is a simple architecture of sound
that builds a solid ensemble. David Greely and Joel Savoy have played
with the finest bands in Cajun music, and know how to listen, and how
to complete the musical circuit that makes a band light up. Learn the
secrets of how to compose a fine tableau of ensemble musicianship.
