            Yes I was talking to Polly about it , she said it went well apart from having to have lay on cold lino and wooden floors and long wet grass.
She said there were a few new comers as well as the usual crowd.

Tania and I went to the shoot.  Was a mix of indoor and outdoor scenes at the old chest hospital.  Certainly an interesting building for photography.  It was built in 1918, but is pretty run down these days and is kind of spooky .   It was cold inside, but very nice and warm in the sun during the outside part, apart from the long wet grass.  Binh certainly knows the effects he’s after and had us doing all manner of poses and styles etc.  Can be a tad uncomfortable it times being THAT close to a complete stranger, but you work thru it..lol.  Only thing that should be made an absolute must for people attending is basic hygiene.  Some needed to take the time to shower or put on deodorant  before taking part in the shoot.  Otherwise, it was a another great day and I’m really looking forward to seeing the results

 

There was a reasonable turnout...between 30 and forty at a guess, but this is still a low number unfortunately.  But I think marketing and advertising is not Binhs strong point...word of mouth is ok, but not quite good enough.  It needs to be in the papers, radio etc for maximum “exposure”.  Hence he is going to seeking people to help him in this area before the next shoot. 

 

Speaking of the next shoot, it is planned for Wellington’s Civic Square sometime in Jan 2012.  This will a logistical test, due to the many entry/exits to the square, but if he does the advertising right, it should be really neat day.
