Hey, and thanks for joining 🙏

I'm José (Zé Nuno for the Portuguese folks), the developer behind GoMingle. This group is the home base for the closed beta — where I share updates, you tell me what's broken, and we figure out together whether this app is worth building.

What GoMingle is

A small Android app for finding people to do real-life activities with. Coffee, padel, a museum, board games, a walk — anything you'd actually want to do but don't always have someone to do it with.

It's focused on Brussels, with early test events in Lisbon, Dublin, Riga, Madrid, and Amsterdam. Brussels is where I want the dynamics to actually work; the rest are smoke tests.

Free, ad-free, 18+, Android only. No dating, no DMs. Just events.

Getting the app

Steps are on https://gomingle.eu — click Join the Beta Programme. If you've just joined this group and the Play Store says "app not available", give it 10 minutes and try again.

Once you're in

• Real photo, real bio, real interests
• Browse the feed — there's already activity in Brussels
• Create something you'd genuinely want to do
• RSVP to something
• Actually go, if you can. That's the whole point.

What I want to hear

Post here for anything — bugs, confusion, ideas, criticism. Other testers can chime in.

"I tried to X and got confused" · "This crashed when…" · "I'd never use this because…" · "I wish it could…"

Don't be polite. Beta is for finding what's broken or boring, not making me feel good.

Two honest notes

Brussels has the most activity — other cities will feel sparse. That's expected.

Meeting strangers is meeting strangers, app or no app. Use your judgement.
