Subject: కంచి కామాక్షి ఎదుట గోపూజ !

 

 

          కంచి కామాక్షి అమ్మవారిని దర్శించేందుకు కంచికి వెళ్ళాం. అక్కడ తెలిసింది ప్రతి ఉదయం ముందు గోపూజ జరిగినతర్వాతే నిత్యపూజలు జరుగుతాయని. ఎంతో సంతోషం కలిగింది.

               గోపూజ చూడటం కోసం మరు నాడు తెల్లవారుజామున ౫ గంటలకల్లా గుడిలో ఉన్నాము. ప్రతిరోజు ౫ గంటలకు గోపూజ జరుగుతుందని, కాపలా వాళ్ళు చెప్పటంతో ఆ సమయానికల్లా అక్కడున్నాము. ఆవరణలో కూర్చుని వేచియున్నాము. మేమే అనుకుంటే సుమారుగా ఒక యాభై మందిదాకా వచ్చారు. ఆడవాళ్ళు, మగవాళ్ళు, పిల్లలు అంతా ఉన్నారు. నేను లలితా సహస్రనామాలు చదువుకుంటూ కూర్చున్నాను.  పూజారిగారు అప్పుడే వచ్చారు. లోపలికెళ్ళి అమ్మవారి వద్ద దీపం వెలిగించే ఏర్పాట్లన్నీ పూర్తయ్యాక (ఒక పదినిముషాలలో) అందర్నీ పిలిచారు. 

                                కామాక్షీదేవి గర్భాలయం ముందు ఉన్న ప్రదేశంలో క్యూ కోసం పెట్టిన ఇనుప రాడ్లను తొలగించి ఉంచారు. అక్కడే ఎదురుగా ఉన్న ఎత్తైన మండపంలో మేమంతా నించుని చూస్తూఉన్నాము. గోమాత, దూడతో సహా గోపాలకుడు వచ్చాడు. 

                                సరిగ్గా గర్భాలయం ఎదురుగా, అమ్మవారి ఎదురుగా గోమాత పృష్ఠభాగం ఉండేలా నించోబెట్టారు. పూజారిగారు గోమాత తోకకు , ప్రక్కలకు, ముఖానికి పసుపు , గంధం రాసి కుంకుమ అలంకరించారు. పువ్వులు జల్లారు. 

          అమ్మవారికి, గోమాతకు హారతి ఇచ్చారు. అరటి పళ్ళు గోపాలకునికి ఇవ్వగా అతను గోమాతకు తినిపించాడు. క్రితం రోజే మేము అరటి పళ్ళు కొని సిద్ధం గా  ఉంచుకున్నాము. మా చేతిలో నుంచి కూడా పూజారిగారు పళ్ళు అందుకొని గోపాలకునికి ఇచ్చారు. మా జన్మ ధన్యమైనట్టుగా మేము భావించి సంతోషించాము. 

               ఇంతవరకూ ఇంత వివరంగా గోపూజ, అదీ గుళ్ళో, అదీ క్షేత్రంలో చూడలేదు. మా గృహప్రవేశానికి గోపూజ చేశాం కానీ, అప్పుడు హడావిడిలో ఏం చేశామో, ఎలా చేశామో తెలీదు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు గురువుగారి ప్రవచనాల్లో గోమాత ప్రాముఖ్యత, ప్రశస్తి తెలిశాక గోపూజ తిలకించటం మహదానందంగా ఉన్నది. 

                                 గోపూజ జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు దూడకు ఒక గిన్నెలో ఏదో పెట్టారు. అది తింటూ ఉన్నది. ఈ పూజ ముగించి పూజారి గారు గోమాతకు ప్రణిపాతం చేశారు. తర్వాత గోపాలకుడు గోమాతను, దూడను తీసికెళ్ళి పోయాడు. 

       తర్వాత అమ్మవారి అభిషేకం కన్నులపండుగగా జరిగింది. అలా ఎదురుగా నుంచుని అభిషేకం చూస్తూ, లలితాష్టోత్తరం చదువుకోవటం నా మహద్భాగ్యం.
