Got this email today and thought I would share.  If your interested let me know and I'll give you their contact info.  

  1. Linux/Web Application Engineering experience - configuring and troubleshooting within an enterprise environment - ensuring that databases & ERP application are running efficiently. 5+ years

    2. Linux System Administration Exp. experience - Scripting, troubleshooting, maintenance and support.

    3. Solid understanding of with the full web services stack with Weblogic, Apache, Adobe CQ or Experience Manager, SSL, API Manager (i.e load balances, web traffic)

    **Certs not required but Red Hat Cert would be nice to have* 

 

Our client needs to bring on a resource for a 9 month contract with the potential to extend (max 18 months) and potential to go permanent. This role is for a Linux/Web Application Engineer. This role will be on the Engineering side of the Infrastructure group. This person will be responsible for the project based upgrades/installation/maintenance of the Linux Red Hat environment. This role is a true Systems Engineer as they will need to have had experience supporting Apache / Web Services on Linux.

Responsible for all system activities related to managing the enterprise computing systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with software and hardware maintenance and updates, installation of new products, performance evaluation, capacity planning and producing related system metrics. Also responsible for researching and formally documenting system software and hardware. Responsible for working with Sr Admins and Enterprise Architects to design and architect new processes and systems. Performs deployments, as required, without supervision.
