Can "Fringe" be added to the lie selection?

Hey GP team - Is there any way to add "fringe" to the lie selection area/screen when tracking the shot? I think this should help with the other issue of counting a putt from the fringe as a putt instead of a chip ot shot. 

Seem like it could be coded that if "fringe" is selected AND "putter" is selected, it would count as a shot and not a putt.
