Whether you are building or renovating, selecting quality windows and doors for your home is a very important decision. Choosing long-lasting, low-maintenance Extreme windows and doors, is a decision you will be happy with for a lifetime.

Particularly in free roam I have noticed if Ray Tracing is switched on some cars appear to have holes in their windows. (Ferrari 458 and 1994 Fairlady Z are 2 I have noticed it on but probably on others too). Means I have switched ray tracing off all together, which is a shame as with it on the game looks truly beatiful!

A device driver or software driver is a computer program allowing higher-level computer programs to interact with a hardware device. For the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme 7214, all the driver installations for their devices are similar except that some systems may have more devices than the other.

After a clean installation of the Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 operating system, you must install the following drivers and software packages:

After a fresh copy of windows is installed, always install the Intel chipset driver utility first. After that, you can install the rest of the devices' drivers in any sequence. However we would recommend you follow the convention below.

Check if the chipset utility is installed by looking at Device Manager - shown below. Install the Intel chipset update from the Support Site or by inserting the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Chipset Drivers > Intel Chipset Utility

Check if the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Chipset Drivers > Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework

Check if the Intel USB 3.0 xHCI is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Intel USB 3.0 xHCI update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Chipset Drivers > Intel USB 3.0 xHCI

Check if the Realtek USB Memory Card Reader Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Realtek USB Memory Card Reader Driver update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Chipset Drivers > Realtek USB Memory Card Reader Driver

Check if the Intel HD Graphics Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Intel HD Graphics Driver update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Video Drivers > Intel HD Graphics 515 Driver

Check if the Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Audio Drivers > Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver

Check if the Intel Ethernet Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Intel Ethernet Driver update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Network Drivers > Intel Ethernet

Check if the Dell Wireless 5808e Card Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Dell Wireless 5808e Card Driver from Support Site or from the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the DVD Choose:

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Input Drivers>Dell Wireless 5808e Card Driver

Check if the Dell ControlVault Fingerprint Security Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Dell ControlVault Fingerprint Security update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Security Drivers > Dell ControlVault Fingerprint Security

Check if the Ublox GPS Communications Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the Ublox GPS Communications Driver update from the Support Site or by the Dell Resource DVD.

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Network Drivers > Ublox GPS Communications Driver

Check if the LCD Touch Panel Driver is installed by looking at Device Manager. Install the LCD Touch Panel Driver from Support Site or from the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the DVD Choose:

Windows 7, 8.1 and 10>Input Drivers>LCD Touch Panel Driver

Have been using Evernote for many years and really liked it until now. Within the last couple of months I noticed Evernote has been locking up or having extreme lag throughout the day. Tried refresh and reloading with no luck and considering just working from Google Docs going forward. Any easy way to fix this? Could be wrong but seems like it started when I loaded the latest version of SnagIt...

Complete waste of time posting to this forum. I figured out the problem on my own - not so sure how others would have been able to do this w/o a tech background like myself. Turns out my single note was too large and buffer sizes are not dynamic. I deleted about 60% of my note data and moved to another new note. Working perfectly now...

The primary culprit for this condition is interior humidity levels, lowering your humidity will reduce moisture and sweat or ice build-up inside your windows. When ice forms on the insides of windows, it is cold air from the window itself or leaking around the window frame coming in contact with the moist air in your home and freezing.

Most of us are familiar with the benefits of small portable humidifiers. Portable whole house humidifiers are much larger to improve the air quality in a larger area. If you use one, we suggest you buy a hygrometer, also known as a humidistat from a hardware store to measure the humidity level accurately. Alternatively, you can opt for a whole house humidifier that installs directly into your cooling and heating system to ensure that your indoor air quality remains consistent year-round.

If you have replaced your old windows with new ones, you might see more condensation. Frankly, condensation on new windows is a sign that your windows are doing their job and holding heat inside your home. The dual pane, gas filled, thermal spacers and weather-stripping all are designed to maintain an incredible temperature difference between the inside and outside. New windows are also rated for condensation resistance (CR). The difference is that your old drafty windows allowed cold air in and warm air to flow out, reducing the humid air inside the house. The new energy efficient windows minimize heat loss from your home in winter. Signs of condensation or frost is again, likely due to high humidity.

From broken furnaces to busted pipes, extreme winter weather can wreak havoc on your home. But perhaps the most noticeable concern isn't a winter woe at all. That loud popping noise you've noticed your house or deck making isn't a poltergeist or structural issue.

To counter the frigid temperatures outside, you might feel inclined to set your home's thermostat to the most comfortable temperature for you. But Brian Schutt, owner of Homesense Heating and Cooling in Indianapolis, says most heating systems are not designed for subzero weather.

You've likely heard this advice before: Turn on your faucets during cold weather events to keep pipes from freezing, bursting and unleashing a flood of water into your home that will damage your possessions.

Typically, homeowners are advised to ensure that faucets on outside walls don't freeze and burst. But with temperatures in Indiana as low as they are, Hope recommends streaming water from every faucet as a precaution.

With an 8-bit display pipeline there will always be banding in a narrow gradient like this. You many have a 10-bit capable monitor - but you also need a 10-bit capable video card, i.e. a Radeon Pro series card.

10 bit display works perfectly on both my Windows systems, both with NVidia Quadros. But it was a while before I discovered that it has to be enabled in the driver. I assume it is the same with Radeon Pros.

Note that Photoshop specifically requires OpenGL 10 bit support. Not to be confused with DirectX 10 bit support, which almost all cards already have out of the box. Photoshop doesn't use that (that's mostly for games).

Banding happens because there is 8 bit processing somewhere in the pipeline. That's what causes banding. Usually it's the display path. I need to be absolutely clear about this: unless you have a fully functional 10-bit display system, you will see banding in these gradients. And you only get that with a Radeon Pro card, not with a standard Radeon.

What could exaggerate it is a buggy video driver, or a severely broken monitor profile. What monitor, and what calibrator are you using with it? Have you tried updating the driver? How does it look if you turn off GPU in Preferences?

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it.
I tried everything, I have the latest driver. I use color navigator 7 (last update). Also all option in Preferences.
I also try a clean installation without monitor calibration. This is very confusing. Because the bandig is much more pronounced than it should be.

I use Colornavigator myself. One potential problem with it is that it makes table-based (LUT) profiles by default, instead of the simpler matrix-based profiles that most other calibrators stick with. These LUT profiles can sometimes be problematic and I have a suspicion that Eizo has a bug here.

You change this when you set up the calibration target, under Profile Policy. You can't change it later when the profile has already been made, so you need to make a new one. Eizo calls matrix profiles "gamma value" in Colornavigator.
