I'm trying to install the DigitalPersona fingerprint driver using Driver Wizard, the problem is, the fingerprint reader works fine before installing with Driver Wizard(means you can still tab your finger on the reader and it responds well)
But after Driver Wizard completed the installation, the fingerprint reader is not functioned anymore(you tab finger on it, and no response).

I found out the usb info on the device management, it's a composite device, and i have the API of the fingerprint reader, what i wonder is, i can detact the device in VISA interactive Control, but just didn't show the "blue light" as the original installation.

I have an HDX 18t. It came with windows vista x64 and I upgraded to windows 7 x64. After the upgrade the built in digital persona fingerprint reader stopped working. The fingerprint reader was not detected. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and updating the drivers. Currently I have the latest software for the fingerprint reader installed (4.11.3826). The icon for the fingerprint reader has the "x" on it indicating that the reader is not detected.
I followed the instructions for part A on installing Validity fingerprint driver and DigitalPersona Personal software. However, after my computer rebooted a message appeared and said "the fingerprint reader could not be detected. Please reinstall using the application and driver recovery disk that came with your system."
If ANYONE can at least tell me who can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried several different solutions several times and it is becoming frustrating. I just want to use the fingerprint reader that came installed in my computer. I want to keep windows 7, so I will not downgrade for the fingerprint reader. This problem has persisted for several months now and I just want it to be dealt with.
I tried going through those steps several times. Each time I installed the digital persona software it said my reader could not be detected, and that I should install the reader with the application and driver software that came with my system.
I am having the same problem the fingerprint reader cannot be detected I have installed and uninstalled tried the recovery manager and nothing. My question is I have a Pavilion dv6700t CTO Entertainment Notebook p/n KT260AV with windows Vista 32 bit. Your help would greatly be appreciated.
I then installed the SDK on an older Windows 10 installation (64 bit, 1709 Build 16299). The sample applications ran, but when the scanner window launches, it does not detect the connected fingerprint reader. I tried switching the device driver from "U.are.U 4500 Fingerprint Reader (WBF)" to the normal "U.are.U 4500 Fingerprint Reader" but it didn't help.
I tried the Biometric Fingerprint Plugin (by Productive Computing) for FileMaker and installed version 2.0.1.2. It comes with a sample FileMaker application for enrolling fingerprints and searching them. The plugin installed correctly, however, it also gives me the same issue upon scanner Window launch. The error message says "The fingerprint reader is not connected. Connect the reader." A screenshot is shown below.

I have a digital persona fingerprint scanner, and i bought it thinking there was a software compatible with my mac computer that would allow me to save a file of a fingerprint and be ready to upload if need be. Is there anysoftware/fingerprint readers that will work with a mac?

Commentaires :I've been using digital persona U. are U. since 2005, and at beginning, readers were not so great, but over years the product has improved for better and in this company we have been using it since 2010. Support is where we think needs to improve because when there is an issue it takes the time to answer.
Commentaires :For the most part I wouldn't part with the software. Since Crossmatch bought out digital persona the support level has dropped considerably. We usually have to get really upset before a problem gets addressed.
I lock my notebook and the lock screen will be sometimes without password field, so I cannot enter anymore. It looks like there would not be usericon and textfield and button there. Have you ever seen such? Any recommendation? I use HP 3010sg notebook and i installed digital persona software that could affect the locking screen. Any suggestions are welcome. This time I can do only stopping computer and starting again. After simple sleeping or hibernate it remains the same.

Do you even have a Pixel 6? Yes, the fingerprint reader isn't good, nothing else you said rings true for me. Wifi and 4G/5G are excellent, fast and highly reliable; Android has always been solid, and Android 13 hasn't shown any issues for me at all; battery life is better than my work phone (iPhone 12).
