Sometimes on Windows 10 using ADE 4.5 becomes frozen and it isnt possible to click the buttons, so I cant use it. I fixed that going to "My digital Editions" and deleting the content in all the folders. Then open ADE again and everything works right, the problem is that you will lose what you got there, but you can make a copy before just in case.

These depositions or witness statements relate to a range of crimes and offences tried in these two types of courts, from defamation to theft and are rich in detail of social, economic, political and religious life in early modern England. This digital edition has been prepared as part of the Leverhulme-funded project Women's Work in Rural England, 1500-1700 undertaken at the University of Exeter between 2013 and 2018.
