Bad Joke of the Week: What did the mandolin player say when he stepped
up to the mic?

We had a great time down in West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio for our
shows over the Fourth of July weekend! On Friday night we played at
the Purple Fiddle and took a break between sets for some great
fireworks! Saturday morning we headed up to Snowshoe Mountain for
their bluegrass festival starting at noon and then we immediately
headed for Harrisonburg, VA for an evening show right downtown on the
square. The muggy day turned into a pretty nice evening and we had a
great show! The next day we made our way through the mountains to
north eastern Ohio for Nelson Ledges's Grateful Fest. Dark Star
Orchestra were the headliners and we played on the second stage
directly after them. We had a really nice crowd of folks that were
dancing maniacs and we sold lots of merch and passed out shots of
peach moonshine after our set. Great times!
Check out our upcoming shows for this week and next week. We will be
in the hometown area this weekend and then we will be joined by Brian
Dickel on bass for next weekend's Michigan shows.
