We have a doodle, Tallulah from Diva's and Cherokee's 5/12/08 litter,
that was rushed to the vet this morning after being discovered lying
in a pool of bloody vomit - she was losing blood from both ends. It
appears that salmonella caused from doggie peanut butter treats -
these were not even listed on the recall list. Her mama, Shawn, wants
to pass this message on to you all:

"Make sure and check any treats you have.. .ours were not on the
recall list. . .NO PEANUT BUTTER ANYTHING. . .including anything with
peanut butter oil or that might have been processed in a plant with
peanut products!!!"

Here's to safe doodling,
Teri & Michael

I got them at costco. . .they are gluten free and all organic. . .the brand
is Think!Dog Organic. . . .

Everyone please just do not use anything peanut butter until they get this
cleared up. . .even then, I think I will stay away from peanut butter
products.

Tallulah is doing much better. . .her main issue was the severe dehydration
that occurred from the massive vomiting. She stayed on i.v fluids all day
and though she came home late they left the catheter in just in case we
needed to do emergency fluids again. But, she is resting well and much
perkier. . .this morning she could not stand up.

Keep her in your thoughts.
