IMPORTANT: There's another adult soccer game at Kezar this Wednesday, so we'll be doing our workout in GGP instead. We'll still meet at Kezar, but outside the East Gate (with the columns, next to the parking lot). We'll do our introductions there, then run into the park as our warmup and regroup at the intersection of JFK Dr & Conservatory Drive E. Please only bring things you can carry with you, as we can't leave anything at Kezar.
🏃 Workout:
We'll be doing 1k repeats on JFK! From our starting point, run roughly 1 kilometer on JFK to 10th Ave (past the playground, turn around right when it starts to go downhill). Stop and catch your breath there for 2 minutes as recov, then run back to where we started. Take a 2-minute break again and repeat.
I suggest running at least 4K total (2 times out-and-back), or you can push yourself to do 3 or 4 out-and-backs. Shoot to run at a tempo pace (a pace you could run for an hour).
