to Golden Gate Running Club
🕕 When: Wed, April 29th, 6:15 PM
📍 Where:  Meeting at Kezar Stadium, the East Gate / Strawberry Hill

📋 Format:
  • Introductions
  • Warm up
  • Workout
  • Cooldown
IMPORTANT: There's another middle school track meet at Kezar this Wednesday, so we'll be running in the park instead. We'll still meet at Kezar, but outside the East Gate (with the columns, next to the parking lot). We'll do our introductions there, then run into the park as our warmup and regroup at the north bridge on Blue Heron Lake (formerly Stow Lake). Please only bring things you can carry with you.

🏃 Workout:

This week we'll be doing repeats of Strawberry Hill! The hill is about 800 meters distance/100 ft of elevation. We'll be running all the way to the top of the hill (don't stop at the top of the waterfall, keep going), then turning and coming back down.

We'll have 1 minute in between reps at the base of the hill to catch your breath. I recommend trying for at least 3 reps (so 3 up-and-down cycles). If you want a flatter workout, you can run the outer rim of the lake, which is about a mile around!

🔋 Post Workout:
Let’s go to the Little Shamrock (807 Lincoln Way). Like the other places, they let you bring food as well. So join us for food and drinks! Note this bar is CASH ONLY

📅 Upcoming Races/Events:

  • Sunday May 17th: Bay to Breakers
  • Friday - Sunday May 29th - 31st: Point Reyes Running Weekend
