📍 Where: The Southside homestretch of Kezar Stadium


📋 Format:

  • Introductions

  • Warm up + Movement drills

  • Workout

  • Cooldown (+ core/stretching)

Congrats to all club members who raced yesterday, and thanks to everyone who volunteered at the aid station! It was a great day all around, with lots of PRs and awesome energy at water stop 12. 

🏃 Workout:

For a fun, easier workout let's do our Strawberry 800s! These are 800-Meter repeats in a relay format. Form a 3-person team (ideally running similar speeds) and run as follows:

  • Lap 1: Runner A starts

  • Lap 2: Runner A keeps running, Runner B joins

  • Lap 3: Runner A stops. Runner B keeps running, Runner C joins

  • Lap 4: Runner B stops, Runner C keeps running, Runner A Joins…

and so on. Only Runner A runs the first lap and only Runner C runs the final lap.


For each runner, 1 cycle is running 800 meters and then taking a short rest. Let’s shoot to do 4 cycles each, meaning running 3200 meters (4x 800m) in total, at around 10k pace. Don’t forget to cheer on your teammates as you run the workout together!

Let's go to Fireside (603 Irving St, between 7th and 8th Ave) this week! They let you bring food as well, so join us for food and drinks!
