I think this has already been distributed, but in case any of you are
using ANTwareII, we recently updated it with two new features that are
useful. Available here: http://www.thisisant.com/pages/ant/ant-software-tools

The first is a link quality monitor - it tells you a count of your
received and missed packets from a transmitter.

The second feature is the ability to play scripts, which means that if
you wish, you can record ANT+ sensor data, convert the message log to
a script and then play it to your device without having to go outside
and ride your bike.

In the development of our certification program, we have found a
number of corner cases that the ANT+ Sensor Simulator just isn't set
up to handle. For example, sending badly formatted data. Among other
things, we use scripting to confirm basic operation of ANT+ displays,
things like whether a display is properly interpreting rollovers, or
gracefully rejecting improperly formatted data)

The other thing we've been using it for is recording corner case
sensor conditions outside - like a sprint followed by a coast on a
power meter - which allows us to then play the data to different
displays and confirm if the interpretations are being handled
correctly.

Information about ANT scripting is available here, along with sample
scripts.
