About the Seminar :
Community radio keeps local culture and traditions alive by telling traditional stories to its listeners about their native culture and traditions. It is a way for the older generation to teach the younger generation about local culture and traditions and keep them alive. Community media is very important for educating and making people, communities, and society about sustainable development, the need for more sustainable patterns of production and consumption, and getting people to take action for change and a more sustainable future. The goal of this one-day national seminar is to show how community radio can help promote sustainable development in local areas in a big way. We will also discuss corporate social responsibility (CSR), FCRS Knwoledge center and fake news or misinformation. Sustainable development refers to a development approach that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Community radio can help achieve this by promoting social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
