Hi, you can choose 'manual slope' in the left pane. Is still a 'smart' mode, but resistance will be dependent on speed (and any gradient you adjust), so I think it will do what you want..Regards,Jon

One other minor caveat is that the Elite trainer line doesn’t broadcast your power/speed/cadence over standard ANT+ channels (thus your Garmin can’t pick it up). But it does do Bluetooth Smart, and also does ANT+ FE-C, so it can at least control it and record it.
Bad news.With other applications, I can do it.I hope that sooner or later I will be even with golden cheetah.
