I'm interested in comparing data collected from the same ride on two different devices.  I have both "rides" in GC.  Are there any ways to do this?  Nothing seems obvious...

What data do you want to compare or what comparisons do you want to make and how in depth do you want your analysis? The charts on the home screen provide a lot of comparative data you just need to set the appropriate date ranges for your rides. If you want more control of your analysis then you may need to go to the "Analysis" screen and the "Edit" chart and copy the columns into LibreOffce or Excel or something. It just all depends on what you want out of the results.  If you are trying to compare the power measuring devices I am not sure GC is the best tool for that but admittedly I am fairly new to GC myself so I could be very wrong about that.

Before I bought a compatible HR strap I, on occasion, would import Garmin and SRM data into GC and then export to CSV and edit the data with excel. Generally it just involved taking a column of HR data from the garmin file and replacing the HR column in the SRM file. Once complete you can re-import back into GC.

I've also plotted data in excel from a wired powertap recording at 1.26Secs/pt and compared it with power from an SRM recording at 1Hz.

I ended up exporting the data and used gnuplot for plotting.
