There is a lot of documentation for GC, but for a deeper
understanding of the basics of the different workouts that can be
performed with GC a search on the internet can be beneficial.
I find it easiest to search the GC WIKI using key words.
How
to search the wiki and source code?
I.e. searching "Cadence" will lead you to the sections;
Which in turn will lead you Trainer Road and instructions on
creating a workout to import into GC that has cues for target
cadence that you can follow.
Golden Cheetah doesn't come packed with workouts available in the
likes of Rouvy, Zwift, etc. but provides excellent tracking and
analysis and requires no subscription. Once you understand the
nature of the files that can be imported into GC you can create from
scratch or modify workout files downloaded from the likes of
TrainerDay, Trainer Road and the like.
