GC v3.7.1 build5006
Windows 11 Pro 24H2

I know this question has been asked beforebut my problem seems a bit more weird. So I get the above error message when trying to save any workout, doesn't matter with the workout editor or the wizard. Some users reported you should direct to an existing directory (Tools -> Options -> Athlete Library), it does NOT in my case. However when I try to point to an existing folder and hit "Save" and after that "Yes, Apply and Restart" it does nothing, it doesn't restart and when checking the folder again, it still points to the wrong folder. Any suggestions? Been using GC for multiple years but right now it remains unusable for me.
Maybe a bit more background information how this started. I was using v3.6 when my Kickr Bike Shift died, unresponsive. First I believed it was my GC version that was somehow corrupt and thought I could as well upgrade to 3.7 so I uninstalled v3.6 and installed v3.7 and that's when the problems started. After a few hours (!!) of trying, the Kickr was good again, it first appaered again in my Wahoo app and afterwards also in GC. So I can do a manual workout in GC, save the activity, review it, but no ergo thing. Thanks!

See the FAQs, in Troubleshooting > Files you will find exactly that issue.

Thanks, that solved my issue. I did look at the FAQ and troubleshooting guide but somehow missed this one.
