I am new to Golden Cheetah and got my Tacx Fortius hooked up to my Linux laptop and running with RLV files. We will be a few in the house to use it, now that all gyms are closed for COVID-19. I would like to see a chart of slope vs distance for the RLV file and ideally a marker of where we currently are (elapsed distance). This is pretty standard and was available in the Tacx software. I have searched quite a bit in the FAQs, menus, charts documentation and did not find how to do it. Next step is to lookup the source code :-( .  I probably missed it somehow, is it available? Thanks!

I actually did try that and got a chart with watts versus time, not what I was looking for. After your reply, I tried "harder". The sequence was the following, go in training, select .rlv, .avi and .pgmf files, and add a workout chart which showed watts vs time. I then tried to select a different .pgmf file and there it was, the gradient profile showing and the chart being watts vs distance; I reselected the original .pgmf file and it showed as well. If I first add the workout chart and then select the .pgmf, then it works fine. If I select the .pgmf file, add the workout chart and "reselect" the same .pgmf file, nothing is updated, presumably because the ui toolkit decides that it is the same pgmf file and nothing has changed. It looks to me as a small initialisation bug. Should I file a bug report? Now I need to find how to change the size of the font in the telemetry charts and find out why I get jumps in resistance when the slope is steep in ride Wintertraum. Thanks for the quick reply, it allowed me to do a first 35km training run with GC seeing the gradients awaiting me!
