I see is possible to add a field in settings into GC from "Rider
Data". I added RPE but I not reach to plot it under metrics chart.
I'm doing something wrong ?

RPE (rate of perceived exertion) is very useful metric because is a
measure of "rider feeling" of an effort. HR is a measure of internal
load, power is a measure of external load, in this manner you can also
calculate "perceived effort load" using session RPE. Very easy to
compute because session RPE is RPE value multiplied time in minutes.
Normally you can use Borg scale (patented) or a custom effort scale
(for example from 0 to 10 define your effort) and you easily can
compute also another useful training load metrics. For example if HR
training load is stable and RPE training load is going up this mean
you feel more fatigue with same internal load (or at the same HR you
fell more fatigued). Can help to prevent/confirm overreaching or
overtraining situation.

The issue with RPE isa that its not accurate. Ie. How you feel doesant mean much in absolute terms. Feel good go slow, feel bad go fast. With almost no correlation that concentration and determination won't offset.

Answer from Jerry was not posted so i reported down.

You find why is important the RPE, is not related with power or
HR...then probably measure another thing.
OK, is subjective, but there's lot of paper now published about this
topic. You can "cheat" (if you work with a team is easy to see) but
you can easily understand it and if data is your you cheat yourself...
In training monitoring i think is useful like power or HR.
After that is a simple method for an athlete that not use powermeter
or is not able to measure power during swimming or running....

I mean RPE is subjective indicator with little to no reflection on
actual power output or eventual outcome in a training ride or race.
Feel good go slow. Feel bad go fast. The outcomes have more to do with
power, preparation, concentration, and discipline, not 'percieved'
anything.
