Hi All,

Tested training mode with Video (avi), pgmf, rlv and I am getting strange speed drop out readings which seem to pop up every 5-6 seconds and make video mode almost unusable as it affects video playback speed (jerky, stop and go).

This is data from workout file - notice speed drops from 8.12 to 4.24, then back to 8.15 the next second while the distance traveled/power/cadence remains consistent - it looks like the data is in m/s, 4.24 corresponds to 15.3 km/h. What I noticed is that if your speed is above 15.3 km/h, it drops to 15.3 km/h every 5-6 seconds or so. If you ride below 15 km/h, then it starts dropping to 10.2 km/h.

I tested it in video mode and then in manual erg and slope mode with same issue - below is 3 seconds extract from workout file.

I've been using my Neo with BKool for almost 2 months and did not notice the same issue - any help will be appreciated, I can upload the whole workout file if it helps.

Thanks !

It's likely a problem with the interpretation of the data on the speed/cadence channel (is known to affect other Tacx trainers).

If you do the pairing process again, but set the s&c channel to unused, that should fix it.

Regards,
Jon

Jon,

That fixed the issue, video nice and smooth now, no more drop outs, thanks a lot for your help !

Also, thank you for information on slope value, who would have thought it would be in the 'target power' - I was kind of wondering why my target power % were so low when I was pulling close to my CP :)
You wouldn't by any chance know what I should put in the source attribute value if I want to display slope in video overlay ?

Thanks again !
