I have a Macbook Pro from 2019 running the latest macOS version. I use the latest Garmin ANT+ stick to connect heart rate, cadence sensor and an Elite Direto smart trainer to the computer. The ANT Stick is connected to the computer using a USB-A to USB-C adapter from Apple.

In Trainerroad, all devices are recognised without problems. However, GC (dev_v3.5 1903) cannot find the devices. I already tried the latest stable version without any difference.

Any idea how I could get GC connected properly?

I experience the same problem. Since I last posted about it, I was able to load the latest GC build on an up-to-date (software) Mac that has conventional USB-A ports. The same (Suunto) ANT stick that fails to work with a USB-A to USB-C adapter works fine when used directly in a USB-A port.

The apapter-USB-C>USB-A combination that fails works fine when using BigRingVR.

Good to know. Are you using an adapter with several ports (HDMI, USB-C, USB-A,...) or a USB-A/-C dongle only? Maybe this has an influence.

I've used both a single port and one with several - none work with GC.
