Hi,

I can't seem to import my ride files which are .data files with a
separate and small file associated with it.

You need to export data in .csv file format. If you have a sample file
or two it would be interesting to see the file format. If it isn't
binary then it should be relatively easy to add support. If it is
binary then it would be more of a challenge.

Hi Mark- I no longer have PowerAgent and can't export the files.. I
can share sample of the files, let me know where to send them.

Joe was kind enough to send through some examples, and upon inspection
they are indeed binary files. I got in touch with Saris support who
explained that they are serialised java objects, they also added that
PowerAgent no longer uses serialized objects to store data.

As a result, as they suggest also, it is not worthwhile working to add
support at this point.

Sorry,
Mark

I was having a similar problem getting PA 7.4 files into GC. I
upgraded my version of PA to the newest available (7.5.1). Upon
startup the new version converts old PA files to a new format (not
sure what) and you can then export the files in several different
formats (.csv, .tcx, .pwx). I used .tcx and besides having to click
'save' a few hundreds times (so all the PA files were not exported in
one file) everything went smoothly. The only thing I lost were my ride
tags, but I can live with that.
Hope this helps!
